Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program

The Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program is an Earn and Learn program, so those admitted to the program will be paid for their time in class and clinical. There may be an option to obtain a supplemental position within the hospital in another department while in class if desired. The training program provides a smoother transition into clinical practice.  Student employees in the program will be in class for 2-3 days a week for nine weeks.

The cost of the CNA Training Program and education materials is completely covered by Sky Lakes Medical Center. Students who successfully complete the program requirements and obtain a certification from the Oregon State Board of Nursing, will be eligible to interview for CNA jobs within Sky Lakes. You will have 30 days upon completion of the program to schedule and take your CNA exam. Sky Lakes will reimburse you for the cost of the exam once your certification is issued.
