Kiva grew up in rural western Washington and went on to study environmental science at university. Following graduation, she worked for ecological restoration nonprofits in Colorado and then for the natural resource department within the Klamath Tribes. Inspired to work more closely with people, she pursued health care and worked as a Medical Assistant here at Cascades East Family Medicine before completing her master’s degree in physician assistant studies. Kiva is excited to return to Klamath Falls and to serve and learn from this community while striving towards increasing health equity. Her clinical interests include women’s health and contraception as well as addiction medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys white water rafting and backpacking in wild places and traveling with her husband and dog.
