Sky Lakes is a rural teaching health system that emphasizes community health and wellness. We serve counties in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Sky Lakes offers a wealth of learning opportunities for medical students.

Our Programs

At Sky Lakes, we are proud to offer a variety of student rotations. Rotations provide hands-on experience with a variety of patients in different care states which helps develop the tools, skills, and resources to be successful in a hospital setting. When you join the team at Sky lakes, we can take an active role in helping you feel at home.

At Sky Lakes, medical students are integrated into the day-to-day workflow, educational rounds, and conferences of their ward teams. An emphasis on learning, feedback, and practical experience is a key element of the clinical experience at Sky Lakes.
