ACTIONS Team Adopted Families for the Holidays

Community means a lot at Sky Lakes Medical Center. This holiday season we are keeping community traditions going in spite of the difficult year. For the last 16 years the employees of Sky Lakes have adopted families of the Klamath Basin in need. This year, with the assistance of Marta’s House, nearly 20 families were identified and adopted by many of the departments at Sky Lakes Medical Center.
In addition to our annual Adopt-a-Family event, members of the Sky Lakes ACTIONS Team delivered hundreds of Italian sodas to fellow Sky Lakes staff members to boost morale and spread a festive spirit.
A lot of work goes into pulling off events like these and they can’t go unappreciated. We would like to thank Sky Lakes employees and volunteers for their dedication to the community, each other, and the hard work that goes into planning, organizing, and realizing community based projects in and outside of Sky Lakes Medical Center.
