Pediatric Speech Language Pathology
Shayne grew up in a small gold mining town in Northeast Nevada called Spring Creek. Similar to K falls, it is a high desert town with beautiful nearby mountains. In 2013 she and her high school sweetheart-turned husband moved to Arkansas where she earned her B.S in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig!), followed by a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2020 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. In 2022, the couple got back to their western roots and moved to Klamath Falls for her husband’s medical residency program. Shayne has spent the majority of her professional career working with children, treating a wide range of speech, language, and feeding/swallowing disorders primarily involving the birth-5 age range. More recently, she has branched out into the adult world where she continues to see a wide range of patients and disorders. She finds joy and fulfillment in helping others improve their quality of life through communication and swallowing. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son or keeping her hands busy with crafting, cooking, baking, gardening, or reading. Weather permitting, she enjoys spending time outside with her family and two dogs, Asher and Louie.
