COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution for Phase 1 and 2

For those who are wondering when they can get a vaccination to protect them from the virus that causes COVID-19, this is what we know at this time:
The Oregon Health Authority’s phased distribution plan assures that members of certain populations — frontline hospital staff, healthcare providers, first responders, long-term care facility residents and staff, and more – who want a vaccination can get one.
We encourage everyone to be vaccinated, but it may take time for everyone who wants a COVID-19 vaccination to get one.
According to the current OHA plan, the general public will begin receiving vaccinations in Phase 2.

The Oregon Health Authority has not yet released information on when the vaccine will be available for Phase 2 vaccinations or guidance on a vaccination plan for Phase 2.
