Meet Natalia Hidden, NP. Natalia is new to Klamath Falls and began working as a Nurse Practitioner at Sky Lakes Urology Clinic in December 2020. We had the opportunity to talk to Natalia about why she chose to live and work in Klamath Falls.
A. My husband’s wildlife biology job brought us here, we were really anxious to move to Oregon and after living in the Midwest the last several years. My husband is an avid outdoorsman, and we all enjoy the outdoors. We had never been to Klamath Falls before but were very excited when we found out he was being transferred here. We moved here August 31st of this year.
A. So far so good. I wish that COVID wasn’t going on so we could explore our community and make friends. With the outdoor recreation there is a lot of stuff to do right outside the door. It’s small here but there seems to be enough here that we don’t need that big urban sprawl.
A. Pros: There a lot of outdoor recreation, it’s a safe community (it has low crime, something I looked into). You can get around easily, it seems everything is within ten minutes of something else.
Cons: There is no major airport here.
A. The view. Really, I feel like I enjoy the view from my office here. I enjoy the view from my home. It’s a really picturesque place.
A. A small town, kind of an island unto itself, kind of a self-sufficient small town that has everything you need out in the middle of Southern Oregon. It has the beauty of Northern California without the price.
