“I’m passionate about health, wellness, and creativity- creativity is the common thread that is woven through all that I do.”

-Anne Davenport

Meet Anne Davenport

Anne is a Sky Lakes Physical Therapist, the Health Promotion Services Manager at the Klamath Basin Senior Citizens’ Center, and an instructor at the Oregon Tech Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Anne is also an artist.

Anne’s newest art piece is displayed on the Sky Lakes Washburn Way Pharmacy. The Piece is titled “The Portal That Heals Me.”

Sky Lakes worked with Anne to creatively translate the Sky Lakes legacy tagline of life, healing, peace as well as the Sky Lakes Values of kindness, respect, integrity, excellence, innovation, belonging. Anne took these concepts and illustrated them in a mural including abstract depictions of life fire and healing water, transformation, and local beauty.

Anne weaves creativity into all her work, and explores where art and healthcare intersect.

“Creating this mural for Sky Lakes Pharmacy has allowed me to combine my passions for art and healthcare, as well as another avenue to enhance community well-being. As an artist and a physical therapist, this project was a unique opportunity to blend my skillsets, creating a piece that reflects the values of kindness, respect, integrity, excellence, innovation, and belonging.

It has been an honor to contribute to a space that will hopefully inspire and uplift everyone who visits” shared Anne.

“We are grateful to have worked on this project with an artist like Anne. She took obscure instructions and turned them into something beautiful. Public art displays are becoming increasingly important for our community to feel valued and to know that we are here to make the place they live not only healthier, but more beautiful” said Kelsey Mueller-Wendt, Healthy Klamath project manager for the Washburn Mural.
