Members of the SJS Awareness Oregon organization donated a variety of activities for Sky Lakes Pediatric patients. The donation was accepted by Sky Lakes Maternal Child Health staff members who are excited to get the donation into the pediatric unit “this is really awesome of them” said Nicole, our clinical manager for Maternal Child Health, one of the staff members who accepted the donation.

Thank you so much SJS Awareness Oregon for your amazing donation to our Pediatric unit! Nicole Chapman from SJS Awareness Oregon reached out after we announced our PlayStation donation to ask about Xbox games, because we have the console but no games for it. In addition to donating games for the pediatric unit’s Xbox, they also donated books, card games, and art supplies appropriate for a variety of pediatric patient ages. Our art supplies are generally for younger patients, and SJS Awareness Oregon provided art supplies and coloring books for our teenaged pediatric patients. Our staff and patients appreciate your kindness and generosity.

In addition to the activities for patients, they also donated bags with information on SJS that the department can use as patient belonging bags.
