How to nominate an extraordinary Sky Lakes Employee for an award
Patients, their families and friends are encouraged to nominate a deserving employee by completing a DAISY or BEE Award form found in waiting areas throughout our facilities and place it in the award drop box or mail it postage-paid. You can also submit an online form for the award with one of the links below.
Employees can also nominate each other for a Values in Action Award with the online form below.
Recognizing Excellent Employees with a DAISY or BEE Award
Sky Lakes Medical Center is proud to be a DAISY Award Partner. The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary compassionate and skillful care given by nurses every day. DAISY Award honorees personify Sky Lakes Medical Center’s commitment to excellence. These nurses consistently demonstrate exceptional skill through their clinical expertise and extraordinary compassionate care. They are recognized as outstanding role models in our nursing community. The BEE Award recognizes non-nurse care team members for their “extraordinary, compassionate and skillful care to help make a difference in the lives of our patients” and is based on nominations from patients, families and colleagues. The award complements the DAISY Award for nurses.
Just as the daisy cannot survive without the bee, nurses cannot survive without the outstanding teamwork provided by other colleagues.

The values in Action Award honors employees who go above and beyond to live the Sky Lakes values in their everyday actions.

We encourage everyone to participate in the nomination process by recognizing our great people who consistently demonstrate our core values. Nominees can be from any department at every level of the organization.
Throughout the nomination process departments will have the opportunity to share the names of nominees and celebrate regardless of whether an employee is selected as a final winner.
