Dana grew up in Northern California and attended undergraduate school at UC Santa Barbara. She moved to eastern Oregon in 2011 and enjoyed working in the emergency department and dermatology clinics there. From there Dana went to PA school and obtained her doctorate in medical studies certificate from Pacific University. While in school her masters thesis focused on the effects of wildfire smoke on wildland firefighters. Dana’s doctorate thesis focused on ways to improve access to gender affirming care in rural areas. Her passions include working with patients in rural areas and she loves living and working in Klamath Falls. She has obtained her Certified Wound Specialist accreditation to better serve our community.
Dana’s special interests include wound care and gender affirming care.
In her life outside of work she enjoys camping, gardening, hiking with her dog and traveling with her family. Klamath Falls offers us access to so many natural areas that she loves to explore!
